Ukraine
Who we are, what we stand for — and why we believe that the voices of young Roma in Europe must finally be heard.
ДОБРИЙ ДЕНЬ!
Roma girls, leading with courage
Ukraine’s Roma communities continue to face multiple challenges, including poverty, displacement and the lasting impact of war. For many Roma girls and young women, these challenges are compounded by discrimination and unequal access to education, participation and opportunities, making safe spaces and community support more important than ever.

What we do
Our services
Voice of Romni is a Roma women-led civil society organisation working to advance the rights, leadership and participation of Roma women, girls and children across Ukraine. Combining advocacy, education, humanitarian assistance and safe community spaces, the organisation empowers Roma communities to overcome discrimination, build resilience and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
Humanitarian Support
We support Roma families and vulnerable communities with practical assistance, including food, hygiene items, children’s kits and winter support.
Empowering Roma Women
We help Roma women build independence through training, career guidance, business support and social enterprise initiatives.
Education for Children
We provide learning support, developmental activities, speech therapy and preparation courses to help children and youth grow with confidence.
Leadership for Roma Youth
We create spaces where Roma girls and young people can develop leadership skills, learn about their rights and become active voices in their communities.
Advocacy & Roma Rights
We work with Roma organisations, activists and public institutions to strengthen representation, participation and equal rights.
Preventing Gender-Based Violence
We support awareness, prevention and protection work around gender-based violence, with a strong focus on Roma women and girls.
Team
The persons behind
A team of educators, activists, and Roma representatives — across six countries. We work participatively: many of our colleagues are part of the Roma community themselves.
